In today's busy world we all are a part of a rat race in life, competing with each other each day. Basically we are not wrong on our part, we all have some goals in life and we work hard to achieve them. We all are chasing our dreams. The best thing in life is the when you achieve your targets, and feel satisfied.
But sometimes this process may lead to increased stress levels, our expectations from ourselves increase so much that we may run behind things which we may not need.
One day my uncle asked me: Beta, for you what is happiness?
My reply: Uncle, for me happiness is when I score first class in my engineering semesters, get placed in a good MNC with a healthy package, have a good career, my mom always stays happy with me, I should have good friends around me, and a day when I find my dream girl I would be the happiest.
He gave me a bright smile hearing my reply. He said you have good targets in life but my child tell me
"Have you ever embraced some of the happy moments in your life"?
I gave a deep thought to these question and asked myself
"Everyday of the year would I do the same thing as of what I am doing now?
We wake up, go to colleges/offices, work for a full day/study, go back home in the evening and repeat the same routine the next day. Do we smile when we get a promotion or we get a gift?
